100% Silk noil couching or needlepoint yarn10 yards of silk at 2400 yards per pound. About the weight of perle cotton. Soft slubby texture which develops a sheen with handling. Available in rust (madder), fushchia (cochineal) mimosa (green), light madder (tan), purple (logwood), purple/brown (wild cheery), golden yellow (osage orange or fustic). This is a spun silk and the texture is too slubby for cross stitch on AIDA canvas. Works best for couching on linen or cotton or with needlepoint canvas.
