Dried Eucalyptus:

South Carolina eucalyptus grown in an herb garden by Lady Cyndra of Loch then the leaves are hand-picked and dried in a smoke free environment. Unlike eucalyptus found in florists and crafts shops, these leaves have no additives, preservatves or fixatives which inhibit the release of the dye. While this dye was not used in Europe during the Middle Ages, it is a safe starter dye which produces peaches to reds with alum mordants or grey to green with iron mordants. One 8 oz. bag provides four quarts of leaves and will dye 1/2 lb. of silk, wool, cotton or linen fiber. Comes with complete instructions for making your own dye. $3.00 for an 8 ounce bag. Order
